Hello Lunch Break. Here's my take on AI. You're either bought in and can't consume what it can do for you fast enough. Kind of like anxious attachment. Or youβre avoidant. But here's the thing. The avoidant pool I know thinks about AI as a replacement for. Instead of an addition to. My mind is swirling on the topic of workflows. Kind of like my soup today.
Alright. Clock's ticking. Back to work.

anxious or avoidant?
THE GAME CHANGED
Every AI Grew a Workbench
Here is the shift avoidants are sleeping on. AI isnβt just a thing you ask. Itβs a thing you build with. Right now, the online conversations around building are really picking up steam. Every major engine now gives you a place to save your own way of working: Custom GPTs in ChatGPT, Gems in Gemini, Spaces in Perplexity, Projects in Claude. Itβs the assistant you canβt afford but have needed for more than a year. Teach it once, update it when needed, and use it forever.

THE WINDOW IS NOW
You're Still Using It Like a Search Box
Be honest about how you use AI right now. The avoidant owner's version of AI: you open it, you type a question, you take the answer, you close the tab. Tomorrow you start over and explain yourself from scratch. For you, itβs just a fancy search box you visit. Your window right now is between asking it questions and actually putting it to work.
YOUR COMPETITORS ARE ASLEEP
The Quiet Ones Are Building
Most of your competitors are right there with you. Ask, close, forget. But a few have quietly started saving their workflows, and you cannot see it from the outside. Their inquiries get answered faster, their follow-ups go out same day, their visibility into their business has never been clearer. And all because they taught it once.

WHATβS THE PROMPT
Build One Workflow Before The Soup Gets Cold
Pick the one task you explain over and over. Replying to inquiries. Quoting a job. Recapping your revenue numbers. Then build it into a workflow once. Paste the prompt below into ChatGPT, answer its five questions, and you walk away with saved instructions you can drop into a Custom GPT, a Gem, a Space, or a Project.

Prompt: I run a small local business and I want to build one reusable workflow instead of re-explaining myself every time. Ask me five quick questions about the single task I repeat most. Then turn my answers into a clean set of saved instructions I can paste into a Custom GPT, a Claude Project or Skill, a Gemini Gem, or a Perplexity Space, so the assistant does it my way every time.

What Happens to An LLC When You Die
Okay, not to be Debbie Downer but Iβve been chatting with a business owner about death recently. In a proactive, smart sort of way. Things like life insurance, disability insurance and after a quick search for legal advice one name stood out amongst the rest in AI.
I asked ChatGPT, Google's AI Mode, and Google's AI Overview the same specific question: best estate planning attorney in Wilmington NC for small business owners and succession. Same firm at the top of all three. Johnson Legal.
Johnson Legal does not just say "estate planning." Their pages say the specific things: business succession planning, buy-sell agreements, operating agreements, LLC succession, even a whole article on what happens to an LLC when the owner dies in North Carolina. After reading that, I have a new βto-doβ on my list.

So here's the question that example should leave you with. When someone asks AI for the best business like yours, are you the name it gives? Or the one it skips? That's the whole job of our AI Visibility Audit. You'll know exactly where you stand, and what to fix first. See what's in it β https://topofsearchmarketing.com/audit/
And, now go build one workflow. Just one.
